Leprika Productions was founded in 2007 by Laura D’Antoni while she studied film at NYU. While in New York and South Florida, Laura worked on several documentaries, most notably directing films about LGBT injustices. Later she specialized in brand and commercial work, relocated to Los Angeles and began working with brands such as Walgreens, Folgers and Little Tikes to focus on hyper-local ads in the video content space.
In 2015, the Leprika Productions team grew with the addition of brothers Joe and Ryan Heilman, two filmmakers who shared a love for meaningful true stories. Their latest television series, Kitchen Expedition, premiered on Food Network in May of 2020, and their award-winning documentary on Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan aired globally. The brothers also work in the branded content industry and regularly partner with brands such as Walmart, Chevron, and Johnson & Johnson.
With over 25 years of experience among the three filmmakers, Leprika Productions has ambitiously moved into the brand space with explosive force- garnering both established and start-up clients in the local and international marketplace.
With a brand agency structure and the kinetic storytelling of a production studio, Leprika Productions is powered by a nimble team of visual storytellers that produce fresh, creative and captivating content that quickly reacts to the market and caters to any business’s needs. Our documentary skills give us an edge on how to tell your story in the most compelling way. The objective is to stand out and rise above exhausted marketing strategies by curating your content to emphasize what makes your company unique.
Our premium partnerships with renowned talent agencies, publishers and distribution marketplaces give us a limitless ability to develop, script, cast and scale for any medium, while removing the risk of investing in content without a promise of return. We know what your company means to you, and you can trust that any project we take on will be given the respect, talent and hard work that it deserves.
